Lots for sale at ARTBID are grouped into different auction categories, for example: antiques, modern and contemporary art, interiors and decoration, books and magazines, jewellery and precious stones, wine and spirits.

How does buying at auction work?

Place your bid
Once you place a successful bid, the top of the bidding block will turn green. If you are outbid, it will turn red. If this happens, you will be informed. All biddings are binding. If you win the lot, you will also be informed by email.

Payments when buying at auction
All payments, when buying at Artbid, are secure. When bidding, keep in mind that fees are added to your final total payment. An auction fee of 15% + VAT will be added to your total. Shipping fees are not included in the auction fee and, when applicable, will also be added to the final total. You can choose from several payment options.

Shipping and Delivery
Once your lots are paid, you can collect your items at their location or get them shipped to your preferred address. Shipping costs, when applicable, are listed in the lot’s description or may be communicated to you afterwards.
